Use existing fire pits only. Don't create new ones unless in a raised
pit or burn barrel that will not to leave a burn scar (all raised pit
fires or burn barrels must be registered with fire control). If you're
a fire performer, please use extreme caution with your fuel. We are
concerned with safety as well as with fuel spin off and spillage - we
want to avoid contamination of our hosts' groundwater. Contact the Fire
Keepers/Safety teams for details on fire performance at Transformus.
Everyone who is planning on bringing fire to the event, even if it is
just a tiki-torch, must have a fire safety plan and bring a suitably
rated fire extinguisher (and know how to use it).
